A friend of mine has a birthday next month. We have been trying to get together since way before Thanksgiving. I used to see her the day before Thanksgiving because I made her a pumpkin pie every year. Her new (and very sweet) daughter-in-law makes the pies now. Well, we finally got together for lunch last week. There, we caught up on things and exchanged Christmas presents. I'll try to take her for lunch for her birthday, but will probably end up mailing this card. Maybe we will get together before St. Patty's Day! She only lives in the next town...
