I made this card for my SIL. When I pick a card to make for someone, sometimes it is very easy to relate their personality to a card. I try to do that all the time, but this is among the easiest. To me this card is very clean and uncluttered. Just like my SIL! Deets:
Stamps: Basket of Blossoms
Paper: Naturals White
Ink: Night of Navy
Accessories: Dimensionals, Night of Navy Grosgrain and Organdy Ribbons, Sponge

My stamping buddy will be having a birthday soon. I made this card for her. I feel very fortunate to have her as a friend. We schedule time to stamp together every month and I so enjoy the company. Happy B Jackie M

I made this card for a friend's birthday. I'm happy about the way it turned out, but it is nothing like I imagined in my mind's eye. Funny how some things just morf into different ideas. Her 2 youngest daughters gave me the Dove Punch (among other things) for Mother's Day. I'm honored that they think so highly of me!
Deets:
Stamps: Brushstroke Blossoms
Paper: Almost Amethyst, Barely Banana, Ultra Smooth Vanilla
Inks: Lovely Lilac, Almost Amethyst, Barely Banana, Sage Shadow
Accessories: Scallop Punch, Dove Punch (MS), Dimensionals

H A Dawn & Luis

My sister & BIL have an anniversary this month. I made this card for them. To make this card, I embossed the outline on one side of the vellum and colored the images on the other side. I don't care to heat emboss on Vellum. It never lays flat after it's heated. Other Deets:
Stamps: Brushstroke Blossoms
Paper: Marvelous Magenta, Naturals White, Vellum Radiant White
Inks: VersaMark, Marvelous Magenta, Pink Passion, Lovely Lilac, Forest Foliage
Accessories: 3/16" Corner Rounder, Embossing Buddy, Gold Glory Embossing Powder, Vellum Tape

HB Jean

My Mother-In-Law is having a birthday this month. No, I didn't mistakenly make 2 cards for the same person; I've been blessed with an MIL and a Step-MIL and they both celebrate their birthdays the same week! My MIL paints pictures and I think she painted a picture that is basically the same format as this card. I chose the colors as a pun for my faux oil painting. I used the canvas background stamp to make it look more like an oil painting on canvas. I made an oval template so that I could define the stippled area. I stamped the background trees on a scrap paper before I stamped it on the card to make it look like they are further away than the single fir tree. I embossed the whole thing because I know that after a painting dries for a few days, you put a protective coating on it. I hope she likes it!
Deets:
Stamps: Canvas Background, Lovely As A Tree, Birthday Greetings
Paper: NOT QUITE Navy, CLOSE TO Cocoa, Naturals Ivory
Inks: NOT QUITE Navy, CLOSE TO Cocoa, VersaMark, Stazon Azure
Accessories: Coluzzle, Stipple brush

My Step-Mother-In-Law is having a birthday this month. I made this card for her. I started with the larger half-pearls, but I make 5 of the same card and I didn't have enough of those. I scrambled around and found the smaller half-pearls. I think I prefer the smaller ones anyway!
Deets:
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red
Accessories: Half-pearls, Sheer Pink Ribbon, Dimensionals, Manhattan Flower Textured Impression, Sizzix Big Shot

Lovely Lilac Purses

I love these purses! They are a bit of work, but they are so CUTE! I made 20 of them for a friend who's mother is going to have a birthday soon. I stuck a Hershey's Bliss Dark Chocolate candy in each if them. I even made the box out of cardstock and the lid out of a piece of plastic that I sized down. I'm learning how to recycle so many things! Anyway, I hope my friend's mom and her guests enjoy the purses!
Deets:
Stamps: Itty Bitty Backgrounds, Delight in Life
Paper: Lovely Lilac, Lavender Lace
Ink: Lovely Lilac
Accessories: 3/16" Corner Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, 1/8" Circle Punch, Paper Fasteners

HB Dor

My cousin's birthday is coming up. Her name is Doreen, but we've always called most of our relatives by the first syllable of their name. BTW, that is why my site is tunedon2stamps. I was always called Don. That is also why I call my DH Ton (pronounced tone). But I digress...
