There's always ONE that has to be different

I made this card with Magic Mesh. What a cool medium! You can cut out any design and it will stick to almost anything. I had no idea that I made one card the opposite of all the rest until I went to glue the Old Olive on the Eggplant Envy! Creepy!
Deets:
Stamps: Trick or Treat, All Year Cheer
Paper: Eggplant Envy, Old Olive, White
Inks: Eggplant Envy, Black
Accessories: VersaMarker, Black Embossing Powder, Black Magic Mesh

Snowflake Ornament Card

This is the card I made to go with the snowflake ornament. I tried to make it look as much like the ornament as I could. I've gotten a lesson in focal points while making this card. The ornament doesn't need a focal point, but the card does.
Deets:
Stamps: Lace Snowflakes, Snowflake Wheel
Paper: Brocade Blue, White
Ink: Blue Azure Stazon
Accessories: Double Hole Punch, Diamond Dust, Ribbons

Snowflake Ornament '10

Here are some of the gifts I am making for Christmas. I embossed the snowflakes on tissue paper so they would be nice and dark and so that the ink wouldn't run when I put the adhesive on them. I used all four Lace Snowflake stamps on each ornament so the they had something showing in every direction.
Deets:
Stamps: Lace SnowflakesInk: Blue Azure Stazon
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Embossing Buddy, Modge Podge, Diamond Dust, Ribbons

Conor '10

This is the card I made for my nephew's birthday. Last year I made him a converse sneaker. Why is it that I see shoe laces and think of him? I have no idea! I ran the front of the card through my Big Shot to texturize the paper. Kinda reminds me of a pick up truck's tool box.
Deets:
Stamps: Birthday Whimsy, Canvas Background
Paper: Going Grey, Black
Ink: VersaMark, Black
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Embossing Buddy, Shoe Laces, Dimensionals, Eyelets, Crop-A-Dile, Texturz Plate Perfect Details, Big Shot

My Last Thinking of You Card...

...at least for a while. My niece carried calla lilies when she got married. I had some extra and had her on my mind when I started fashioning this card. A little different, I have to admit, by maybe okay?Deets:
Stamps: All Year Cheer I, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Paper: White, Red, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Red
Accessories: Ribbon, Floral Picks

Thinking of You 3

I really need someone to show me how to use my Big Shot. It's probably very hard to see the embossed dots on the top of the card. It's even hard to see them IRL! They just didn't seem to pop out as much as I expected them to. Next time I'll just emboss them the old fashioned way - one dot at a time with a stylist. I wish that thought would have come into my head when I was making them! Could it be that I actually think better when I'm sleep deprived? Lord knows I can't type better. But I do get more chatty... or is it typeee?
Deets:
Stamps: All Year Cheer
Paper: Purely Pomegranate, White
Ink: Purely Pomegranate
Accessories: Ribbon, Big Shot, Texturz Background Small Dots

Thinking of You 2

This is a really cool card. Instead of using ink on the French Script Background stamp, I 'inked' it up with bleach! I love the way it came out. The Black paper is bleached and it looks like Kraft paper. You can also stamp an image and 'color' it in with bleach using a Q-Tip. I plan to do that some time in the future. I plan to sleep some time in the future too...
Stamps: French Script & Antique Background, All Year Cheer I
Paper: Black, Kraft (hmmm, I wonder if there's any mac & cheese to nosh...)
Ink: Black, VersaMark
Accessories: Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin' Dimentionals

Thinking of You Thinking of Thinking of You Cards

Okay, I am exhausted. It's after midnight and I can't sleep. I should have known better than to have that Diet Cherry Coke with dinner. Tomorrow, I have a doctor's appointment and I'll have to convince him that I am feeling fine, but when I don't get enough sleep, I hurt. Thank God for spellcheck because I'm misspelling every other word. I was asked to make a series of Thinking of You cards. Here is my first.
Deets:

Get Well Soon 5

Okay, here is my last Get Well Soon card. I think this could also be sent to cheer up a man or a woman. Not long after I finished this batch of Get Well cards, I got sick! No, really! I even got referred to a specialist! I'll never say I'm sick of making Get Well cards again! My angels got a kick out of the irony of it all....

Paper: Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy, Chocolate Chip
Inks: Not Quite Navy, Versamark, White Craft

Get Well Soon 4

This is my version of a Get Well card for a man. It's got a lot of weight to it and I think, with the absence of flowers, and even with the ribbon, it would be a good fit for guys you want to cheer up.

Stamps: Sincere Salutations, Antique Crackling
Papers: Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, White
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Grosgrain Ribbon, Organdy Ribbon

It's hard to see, but the main portion of the card is stamped with the Canvas background using the same color ink as the paper. Then I took the blue hue and stamped the background with the French Script background.
