Jackie's Gift

I made this card and Gift Ensemble for a dear friend of mine's birthday. I always thought that patterned paper was sort of cheating. I have lots of background stamps to use to make patterened paper, but sometimes it's hard to find two patterns that work together and then work for the project at hand! So I actually ordered PATTERENED PAPER! I have to admit, I like it! I think I may use it in my cards too. Anyway, this set is a card, purse, notepad and pen. I should make more of these.

I used it to make cards for my Godson, whose bedroom was full of bears. He in his second year of college now and built like a bear! Hmmmm! I have this sudden urge to make myself ballerina cards.....

Gift Card Holder '11

I made this Gift Card Holder for my sister and my nephews. I used actual wrapping paper for the outside. It's really shiney. The 'bow' is made by glueing wrapping paper to cardstock, than punching the small oval punch first, THEN punch the larger oval punch with the oval hole centered in the punch. Doing it backwards is REALLY hard to do! I used the snowflake punch and added a crystal in the center. The top flips up and the bottom unfolds to show a pocket for the gift card. Hope you like it!
