We went to a wedding reception Saturday night. here is the front of the card I gave them.
When you open the card, this is what you see
Open it again and you see this
Then, this is the back of the card.

This, by far, it THE coolest card I have ever made in my life! Oh! I also made them a shadowbox keepsake

And a bag to carry it in!

They told me they laid in bed and played with the card for hours! Not what I expected to hear from newelyweds!

Lake Martin Retreat 2012

These are pictures of some of the things we made for out Women's Outreach Retreat. Our colors are pink and black and white zebra stripes. We made iron-on tshirts for our flip flop theme. The straps say "Women's" "Retreat" "Lake Martin" "2012".

Since we were going to be having fun in the sun, i thought we should have all natural lip balm with sun screen.
Our first night, we always go out to eat. We went to Uncle Nick's Smokehouse.
This was the view from our table. It was so beautiful!
I even ordered a cake in our theme from Lynn Rawlinson. Didn't she do a great job? And it was so yummy!
We make place cards for our dinner at the lake
We had a Flip Flop decorating contest. These are Linda's. She loves butterflies. The second pair is croched. That must have taken forever!

Here are Mona's. She took scrapbooking items and attached them to her straps. All the items had a beach theme.
Here are my Flip Flops. I don't know why they remind me of Dora the Explorer! Even my Flip Flop decorations are weaing Flip Flops!

Here are Suzi's "Snack on-the-Go" Flip Flops. ("As God is my witness, ...I'll never be hungry again!")

Mother's Day '12

This is the card I made for Mother's Day this year. I love the metal sheets, they look so beautiful, but they are very expensive!

I was trying to learn a different technique, but realized I didn't have all the materials I needed! Oh well! I just pressed on and made this card. Faux Rattan will have to wait for another time.

Meagan came by to make a card for a teacher's assistant who was moving on. We made cards many times together and so we picked a similar card and morphed it into this one. Meagan picked the colors and I spiffed it up a little. I'm sure the TA was pleased.

Savvy's Graduation Card

I made this card for my niece. I can't believe she has graduated High School! Where did the time go? Wasn't it just yesterday that we were watching some cartoon video together and acting silly? Her school colors were green and yellow. I punched out the Logo from her invitation and the "Class of 2012." I went all over the place trying to find gold hardware. There was none to be found! Fortunately, I had a can of Gold paint so I sprayed the hardware gold and I think it works perfectly.
Deets:
Stamps: Tassel Time
Ink: Garden Green
Paper: Garden Green, YoYo Yellow, Brushed Gold
Accessories: Green Metal Sheet, Round Tab Punch, Big Shot, Label Framelits, Hodgepodge Hardware
