This is the card I made for Thanksgiving. We are going to scale down this year, (sure) but I always look forward to cooking a big meal. Actually, I do most of the cooking the day before so I can have some fun that day. I have no idea how to 'scale down', but we'll see.

Glittery Ornaments
Twice a year our Women's Missions and Outreach Ministry visit Teen Challenge. We always bring them little gifts and snacks. This year I was thrilled to be able to decorate clear ornaments into these stunning beauties! I used Stampin' Up! reinkers and fine glitter. They take a while to make, but are SOOO worth the time. Take the top off and add 10 drops of ink in the ornament. Roll the ink around so that it covers the entire interior of the ornament - Do Not Shake! Shaking will cause bubbles and will make it harder to evenly cover the sides. Turn the ornament upside down and let the extra ink pour out. Using a funnel, pour in the glitter. This you can shake or roll to cover the ink. pour out the left over glitter to use again. Put the top back on the ornament. They really look a lot better when you look at it on a tree. TFL!

Lynn & Dave's Anniversary
I got invited to a surprise anniversary party for a friend that I don't see as often as I would like but is so very dear to me. I wanted to make a card really special for them. I found a card similar to this and got to work. I LOVE THIS CARD!!!!! It has so much detail to it! I used the pearl because they are the traditional gift for a 30th anniversary.

Suzi's BD card '12
When I was making the things for Dana's shower, my friend Suzi noticed the stamp set. She told me she wanted this octopus on her birthday card because she was serving cupcakes. Challenge accepted. I relied on her colors and my Big Shot.

If you will look to your left....
Still can't figure out why these photos are setting sideways, but this is the topiary Dee & I made for Suzi's Sweet 60 Party. We covered it with different shades of pink tissue paper & ribbons and stuck candy on the top. The tissue paper started tearing from the weight of the candy and so we held it together with pink mesh.
We took some of her favorite candies and taped them to sticks. Then took a vase and stuffed it with tissue paper. We added a piece of covered Styrofoam on the top & stuck the sticks in. Yummy!
This was a tree shaped cone. We covered it with pink duct tape for to strengthening. In hindsight, I should have used something gold. The idea of this was for a Ferraro Roche tree, but they are so expensive! I added mini Reece's peanut butter cups to fill in the rest.

Kyle's BD'12
This is the card I made this year for my nephew Kyle. He's so outgoing and crazy! I wish I could have been there for his birthday. As a matter of fact, I was so busy making things for Dana's shower, that I forgot to mail this to him. I felt terrible! I found it under a bunch of papers on my desk and mailed it out. He was okay, though. Such a good kid! His brothers are too. Oh! Back to the card....
